Kari Wuhrer was born on the 28th of April the 28th of April, 1967. She is an American actor and singer. Wuhrer began her acting career when she was in her teens. She was best known for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders and also for the role of Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. Her siblings include three. When she was just an teen, she would perform in clubs by taking a break from home. Kari began studying acting when she was 13. Then she studied drama at Tisch School of the Arts located at New York University and Columbia University. Marymount Manhattan College and at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, with Uta Hagen, who is a well-known instructor. Kari started acting in her teens, with her first break on television coming in the 1987's MTV Remote Control.
