Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat

Madekwe is the daughter of the mixed race family of South London in England. She's English as well as her father is Nigerian. She attended The Brit School when she was 14 years old. In London, she studied at The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art where her acting certificate was awarded. At the academy, she appeared in numerous stage productions including the King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe began her acting career through the film Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared in Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe's breakthrough came in 2007's Woody Allen movie Cassandra's Dream. It was in the role of Colin Farrell (who played the part of Cassandra) as well as Ewan McGrath. Ashley Leggat, a twice Gemini nominated actress, was born into a big family from Hamilton, Ontario. Her parents Roy and Patty, as well as the four brothers of her, Brett, Todd, and Bram who were also present. Ashley's four brothers, all very physically active, were all playing hockey in the winters and baseball in the summer months, which means they grew up mostly in arenas and baseball parks.
